Time for a peek at my recent reading and book behavior! I found this tag over at dinipandareads, and looked like such fun that I decided to do it, too! Let’s jump right in.
THE LAST BOOK I BOUGHT
I received an eARC for A Lady’s Guide to Fortune-Hunting and fell hard. Almost as soon as I finished reading, I placed an order for a physical copy. My shelf needs this loveliness and hilarity.
THE LAST BOOK I BORROWED
From the library, that would be The Monsters We Defy by Leslye Penelope. So far, so good!
THE LAST BOOK I WAS GIFTED
My friend gave me a copy of Lady Susan & Other Works because she knows I’m an Austen nut and can never have enough copies of her work!
THE LAST BOOK I GAVE TO SOMEONE ELSE
That would be From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler by E.L. Konigsburg. This is one of my go-to gift books because it’s short and funny. I also work at an art museum, so when my manager left earlier this year, I gave her a little art museum-themed going away gift, with this and a DVD of How to Steal a Million (another favorite). Plus snacky things, of course.

THE LAST BOOK I STARTED
I just started a reread of The Siren of Sussex by Mimi Matthews — in anticipation of the next book, The Belle of Belgrave Square, releasing this fall!
THE LAST BOOK I FINISHED
Scandal in Spring by Lisa Kleypas.
THE LAST BOOK I RATED 5-STARS
Again, A Lady’s Guide to Fortune-Hunting!
THE LAST BOOK I DNF’d
Sadly, Jayci Lee’s Booked on a Feeling just did not work for me. Halfway through chapter one, I could tell forcing myself to keep going would only irritate me more, so I set it aside.
THE LAST BOOK I LISTENED TO
I’m having fun listening to Lisa Kleypas books while doing tedious work tasks. The latest was my beloved Chasing Cassandra, from the Ravenal series.
As usual, I’m leaving this tag open to whoever wants to participate! I had a lot of fun with it and hope you will, too.

P.S. Because if I have to burst into song every time I see the title Booked on a Feeling, you should, too. 😜
